DIALAS IN ENGIADINA BASSA:

3 Diala, Sent, Val Sinestra

de Es gibt die Sage oder das Gerücht, dass über dem Dorf Sent ein Loch ist, das man
heute „La Foura da las Dialas“ nennt. In der Nähe war einmal eine Bauernfamilie am
heuen. Am Mittag haben die Dialen ein Tischtuch ausgebreitet, mit Speis und Trank,
und luden die Bauern zum Essen ein. Der Vater, ein Vielfraß, verschwand ohne sich
zu bedanken, nachdem er gegessen und getrunken hatte. Die Dialen hatten keine
Freude, und haben auf jener Wiese nie mehr ihr Tischtuch ausgebreitet. Der alte
Geißhirt aus Sent behauptete, Dialen vor dem genannten Loch gesehen zu haben.
Davon will aber niemand mehr etwas wissen.

en There is the legend or the rumor, that there is a hole above the village of Sent, which is
called „La foura da las Dialas“ nowadays. Nearby there once was a farming family
making hay. At midday the Dialas spread a tablecloth with meat and drink and invited
the farmers to lunch. The father, a glutton, disappeared without thanking them after
having eaten and drunk. The Dialas were not really pleased, so they never again
spread their tablecloth on that meadow. The old goat shepherd of Sent asserted that
he had seen Dialas in front of the mentioned hole. But no one wants to know any of
that any more.

fr Il y a la légende ou le bruit qui court, qu’il existe un trou au dessus du village Sent, lieu
dit „La foura da las Dialas“. Tout proche une famille de paysan fit sa fenaison. A midi,
les Diales dressèrent la table et invitèrent les paysans à partager le casse-croûte. Le
père, un vieux glouton, s’éclipsa après avoir tout ingurgité sans dire „merci“. Les
Diales ne s’en réjouirent guère et ne déployèrent plus jamais la nappe dans ce pré. Le
vieux berger de chèvres prétendit, d’avoir vu des Diales devant le lieu dit. De ce fait
divers, personne n’a plus envie de parler.

it C’è il detto o la diceria che sopra il villaggio di Sent c’è una buca che viene nominata ancora oggi «La buca delle fate». Una volta nelle sue vicinanze una famiglia di contadini
faceva il fieno. A mezzogiorno le fate stesero una tovaglia bianca con pietanze e
bevande e invitarono i contadini con le loro famiglie a pranzo.
Dopo aver mangiato e bevuto come si deve, un contadino mangione, s’allontanò senza
ringraziare. Di questa scortesia le fate non ebbero nessun piacere e non stesero mai più
la loro tovaglia su quel prato. Un vecchio capraio di Sent pretende di aver visto ancora
tante volte le fate davanti a quella buca, però di questo nessuno ne volle più sapere.
